Assam Meghalaya Itinerary : Shillong 3NT + Kaziranga 2NT + Guwahati 1NT

Day 1 : Guwahati – Shillong (Approx 120 kms – 3 hrs)

Assistance on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station(Assam) and transfer to Shillong also known as ‘The Scotland of the east’. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or at own. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 : Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong

Today we move on for an excursion tour to Cherrapunjee – ‘The Wettest Place on Earth’, visit Limestone Cave, Waterfalls – Waterfalls – Nohsngithiang Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkailikai Falls (world’s fourth highest). Evening free or can visit the Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3 : Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong (Approx 200 kms – 8 hrs)

This day we embark on an excursion trip to Mawlynnong Village. Mawlynnong Village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in India. It is situated 90 kms. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Mawlynnong nestled in the pristine hill state of Meghalaya, is along the Indo-Bangla border. This cute and colourful little village is known for its cleanliness. The main occupation of the villagers is agriculture. They mostly grow betel nut. About 82 households live in Mawlynnong. Keeping the surrounding environment clean is an age old tradition. Later visit Dawki and evening back. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4 : Shillong – Kaziranga National Park (Approx 290 kms – 5 hrs)

After breakfast take the departure transfer to Kaziranga. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Overnight stay in Kaziranga, Assam.

Day 5 : Kaziranga – Sightseeing

Early morning Elephant ride. Post breakfast we embark on a jeep safari to Central Range. Post lunch visit to Western range. Overnight stay in Kaziranga, Assam.

Day 6 : Kaziranga – Guwahati ( Approx – 217 kms 4 ½ hrs)

After breakfast we take the transfer to Guwahati. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Evening Brahmaputra River Cruise (on direct payment basis). Overnight stay in Guwahati, Assam.

Day 7 : Guwahati – Airport / Railway Station Drop

Morning visit Kamakhya Temple.After breakfast take the departure transfer to Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.

If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
