Leh Ladakh: Leh 3NT + Lamayuru 1NT + Nubra Valley 2NT + Pangong Tso 1NT

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Your adventure begins as you arrive in Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is dedicated to rest and acclimatization to the high-altitude environment of Leh. It’s important to take it easy, so enjoy the peaceful surroundings and perhaps take a short stroll around the local market or relax at your accommodation. Rest up for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2: Leh to Lamayuru via Basgo and Likir

After breakfast, you’ll set out for a scenic drive to Lamayuru, one of Ladakh’s most unique and picturesque villages. On the way, you will visit the ancient Basgo Monastery, nestled amidst striking rock formations, offering views of the surrounding valleys. Continuing your journey, you’ll stop at Likir Monastery, where the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views provide a perfect break. Finally, you’ll arrive at Lamayuru, known for its dramatic landscape, often referred to as the “Moonland” of Ladakh. Explore the Lamayuru Monastery, perched on a hilltop with panoramic views of the surrounding desert-like terrain.

Day 3: Lamayuru to Leh via Alchi, Sangam, and Magnetic Hill

Today we will go on a day’s excursion to Alchi and Likir Monasteries. We will visit Sangam, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. We will make a stop at Magnetic Hill on the way. On our way back to Leh we will visit the Hall of Fame, a museum maintained by the Indian Army showcasing the military history in Ladakh.

Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley (Hunder) via Khardungla Pass and Deskit Monastery

Today, you will embark on a thrilling journey to Nubra Valley, passing through the Khardungla Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The stunning mountain views from the pass are a highlight. After descending, you’ll reach Hunder, a picturesque village in Nubra Valley, famous for its unique sand dunes and double-humped Bactrian camels. You’ll also visit the Deskit Monastery, perched above the valley, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Enjoy the tranquility of Nubra Valley and its rugged beauty.

Day 5: Day Trip to Turtuk Village & Thang Zero Point

Today’s adventure takes you on a day trip to Turtuk Village, a serene and relatively unexplored destination. Located near the Pakistan border, Turtuk is a beautiful blend of Tibetan and Balti cultures. The village is surrounded by the mighty Karakoram Mountain range, and you’ll have the opportunity to interact with locals, explore traditional homes, and experience the authentic culture of the region. After visiting Turtuk, head further towards Thang Zero Point, where the views are nothing short of spectacular. Return to Hunder for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Route

This morning, you’ll leave Nubra Valley and head towards the famous Pangong Lake via the scenic Shayok Route. The drive offers some of the most dramatic and breathtaking views of the high-altitude desert and mountains. As you near Pangong Lake, the crystal-clear waters and ever-changing hues of blue will leave you speechless. The lake, which stretches across India and China, is a popular spot for photography and nature lovers. Spend time at the lake soaking in the beauty of this mesmerizing place.

Day 7: Pangong Lake to Leh via Changla Pass

After breakfast by the lake, you’ll begin your journey back to Leh. The drive takes you through the picturesque Changla Pass, one of the highest passes in the region, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Once you reach Leh, you’ll have the evening free to relax or explore any last-minute sights in the town before your departure the next day.

Day 8: Fly Out of Leh

On the final day of your Ladakh journey, enjoy a relaxed morning before your flight back home. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time for last-minute shopping or a quick visit to Leh’s famous sites like the Leh Palace or Shanti Stupa. Bid farewell to the beautiful landscapes of Ladakh as you board your flight and head back home, taking the memories of an unforgettable adventure with you.

Cancellation Policy:

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
If cancellations are made prior to 45 days before the start date of the trip, Rs. 1000/- per person will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made 45 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of Tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made between 44 and 31 days before the start date of the trip, 40% of Tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made between 30 and 15 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of Tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made between 14 and 7 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of Tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within a week or in case of No Show, 100% of Tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
