Assam Meghalaya Honeymoon Special Itinerary : Jorhat 2NT + Kaziranga 2NT + Shillong 3NT + Guwahati 1NT

Day 1 : Dibrugarh Airport Arrival – Jorhat(140km – 4hrs)

Assistance on arrival at Dibrugarh Airport and see Bogibeel bridge and transfer to Jorhat. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Dinner & stay in Jorhat, Assam.

Day 2 : Jadav Molai Payeng Forest via ferry boat

Post breakfast take the transfer to the jetty. Then take a boat and reach Jadav Payeng Forest. Overnight stay in Jorhat, Assam.

Day 3 : Jorhat – Kaziranga National Park (Approx – 120 kms 3 hrs)

Post breakfast embark on a local sightseeing tour to Gibbon Sanctuary near Jorhat. Later take the transfer to Kaziranga National Park. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Overnight stay in Kaziranga, Assam.

Day 4 : Kaziranga National Park

Early morning Elephant ride (Joyride – outside the park). Post breakfast embark on Jeep Safari to Western Range. Post lunch embark on Jeep Safari to Central Range. Overnight stay in Kaziranga, Assam. (Note: Jeep safari range may change)

Day 5 : Kaziranga National Park – Shillong (Approx – 270 kms 7 hrs)

After breakfast take the departure transfer to Shillong also known as ‘The Scotland of the east’. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Evening free at own. Overnight stay in Shillong, Meghalaya.

Day 6 : Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong

Today we move on for an excursion tour to Cherrapunjee – ‘The Wettest Place on Earth’, visit Limestone Cave, Waterfalls – Waterfalls – Nohsngithiang Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkailikai Falls (world’s fourth highest) and on your way back visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak. Evening free or can visit the Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong, Meghalaya.

Day 7 : Shillong – Mawlynnong – Shillong

This day we embark on an excursion trip to Mawlynnong Village.

Mawlynnong Village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in India. It is situated 90 kms. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Mawlynnong nestled in the pristine hill state of Meghalaya, is along the Indo-Bangla border. This cute and colourful little village is known for its cleanliness. The main occupation of the villagers is agriculture. They mostly grow betel nut. About 82 households live in Mawlynnong. Keeping the surrounding environment clean is an age old tradition. Overnight stay in Shillong, Meghalaya.

Day 8 : Shillong – Guwahati (Approx – 120 kms 3 hrs)

After breakfast we embark on a local sightseeing tour of Shillong and we would visit Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Spread Eagle Falls or Sati Falls, Botanical Garden, StateMuseum. Post lunch we take the transfer to Guwahati. Enroute visit Barapani Lake. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Evening if time permits Brahmaputra River Cruise (Cruise on direct payment basis). Overnight stay in Guwahati, Assam.

Day 9 : Airport / Railway Station Transfer

Post breakfast, we visit Kamakhya Devi temple and then take the departure transfer to Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.

If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
