Meghalaya Itinerary : Shillong 3NT + Cherrapunjee 1NT + Guwahati 2NT

Day 1 : Guwahati – Shillong (Approx 120 kms – 3 hrs)

Assistance on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and transfer to Shillong also known as ‘The Scotland of the east’. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or at own. Overnight stay in Shillong, Meghalaya.

Day 2 : Shillong – Sightseeing

This day we embark on a full day local sightseeing tour of Shillong and we would visit Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Spread Eagle Falls or Sati Falls, Botanical Garden, State Museum. Return to hotel. Post lunch we visit Barapani Lake. Evening free. Overnight stay in Shillong, Meghalaya.

Day 3 : Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong (Approx 200 kms – 8 hrs)

This day we embark on an excursion trip to Mawlynnong Village. Mawlynnong Village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in India. It is situated 90 kms. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Mawlynnong nestled in the pristine hill state of Meghalaya, is along the Indo-Bangla border. This cute and colourful little village is known for its cleanliness. The main occupation of the villagers is agriculture. They mostly grow betel nut. About 82 households live in Mawlynnong. Keeping the surrounding environment clean is an age old tradition. Later visit Dawki and evening back. Overnight stay in Shillong, Meghalaya.

Day 4 : Shillong – Cherrapunjee (Approx 56 kms – 2 hrs)

After breakfast we take the transfer to Cherrapunjee also known as ‘The Wettest Place on Earth’, visit Limestone Cave, Waterfalls – Nohsngithiang Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkailikai Falls (world’s fourth highest). Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee, Meghalaya.

Day 5 : Cherrapunjee – Guwahati (Approx 176 kms – 5 hrs)

After breakfast take the departure transfer to Guwahati. Enroute visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Evening free. Overnight stay in Guwahati, Assam.

Day 6 : Guwahati – Sightseeing

After breakfast embark on a sightseeing trip to Kamakhya Temple, Navagraha Temple, Kalashetra, Balaji Temple, Assam State Museum, Botanical Garden. Evening Brahamaputra River Cruise (On Extra payment) free. Overnight stay in Guwahati, Assa,.

Day 7 : Guwahati – Airport / Railway Station Drop

After breakfast take the departure transfer to Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.

If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
